I don't know if Pamela Schweitzer is the highest ranking pharmacist in the history of the United States, but we are going to ask her. We do know she was a Rear Admiral , Chief Pharmacy Officer and Assistant Surgeon General in the U.S. Public Health Service. Pam's career has taken her from remote Indian reservations in South Dakota and Arizona to a leadership role working to improve health and pharmacy practice nationally. The National Alliance of State Pharmacy Associations (NASPA) is the DC based association that represents the states.  They are an invaluable partner for ASCP on state issues and state insight.
